How it works

One hour, a small group and a guide who walks with you. Here's what happens, and what people usually ask.

We hand you the glasses

Clear and light: you see the neighbourhood just as it is, plus something more. You don't have to touch a thing: the guide adjusts them and stays with you the whole way.

You follow the arrow

Through streets with centuries of history. As you walk, a voice tells you what happened on the very spot you're standing.

Illustration: a translucent figure from another century appears in an alley and someone wearing the glasses asks a question.

Someone appears. And you ask.

Standing on the spot where they lived. They talk to you and answer you, in your language. Who they are, you'll find out there.

Frequently asked questions

I wear prescription glasses

The tour glasses can't be worn over your own. If your prescription is mild, you'll usually see fine without them; if it's stronger, wear contact lenses. Not sure? Write to us before booking.

Will I be able to see in the Seville sun?

Yes: the glasses tint themselves, and tours run early and late in the day, when the light is softer. We never run tours at midday.

Where do we meet, and how do I get there?

In the Patio de Banderas, next to the Alcázar. Your guide waits by the street lamp in the middle of the square, facing the Giralda. Arrive 10 minutes early: handing out the glasses takes a few minutes.

I'm deaf. Will it work for me?

Yes. Each character's words appear as text in front of you, right there in the street, in the language you choose.

Can I cancel?

Yes, free of charge up to 24 hours before your tour. And if it rains, we'll move your date or give you a full refund.

Do I need to download anything or bring my phone?

No. We provide the glasses and the phone that goes with them. All you do is walk and ask.

Which languages is it in?

Spanish, English, French, German, Chinese and Japanese. You choose yours at the start, and everyone in the group can pick a different one.

How far do we walk?

Less than 2 km, on flat, traffic-free ground, stopping every few metres.

What if the glasses are uncomfortable?

They're light, but if at any point you'd like to take them off, the guide will help you and you carry on with the group.

Can I take photos?

Yes, with your phone, as usual. What you see in the glasses can't be photographed: that's part of the magic.

How many people per group?

Up to 8, plus the guide.
